I was just reading yahoo news this morning saw this headline:

Kin outraged, distraught over teen's cyber suicide

I went on to read the story and i'm nothing short of horrified. Apparently a 19 year old posted on a website that he was going to kill himself on webcam. Many showed up to watch. They saw him take the pills and wondered if he'd taken enough to do the job. Some of the watchers encouraged him to go through with his plans, some tried to talk him out of it. Most apparently literally watched him die til finally someone reported it and the feed was traced. The feed ended with the police showing up at which point there were many "LOL's" and "HAHAHA's". Yes it was obviously hilarious, that's totally the appropriate reaction to a suicide.

I feel so very sorry for the young man who chose to take his life, as well as the family he left behind. Thankfully I can't imagine how that must feel, but do you know who i almost feel sorrier for? The parents of the freaks that watched and encouraged this boy to die. What a pathetic thing you have thrust into this world to be around the rest of us. How proud you must be of the callous, cruel, disgusting individuals you've turned out. what am I sorry for exactly? I'm sincerely sorry that you didn't just use a condom, it's fairly obvious the best part of your child ran down someone's leg. How sad, truly.

Now pardon me while i go call my kids and just tell them how proud i am of them and that I love them, as well as find some Christian faith and true sorrow for these idiots. I think it may take awhile.
