Busy Busy Busy

Trying to catch up today but it seems to be tough. Between big things going on at work and trying to get ready for the holidays it seems like i'm running in circles. On top of all that, there's the big move as well. December will probably go by in a flash.

Makes me a little sad really, but it'll be okay. I have no doubt of that. So while i'm thinking about all this other stuff, I'm also being hounded by Ashley wondering how we'll be decorating the new house. At this point I still don't know. It's sort of the last thing I'm concerned about really but it's driving her nuts. I know she was talking for a bit about painting her room black. That's not going to happen EVER, but i guess she can dream.

One of the first things I need to do is get a bathroom sink vanity. The one in there already is just not my cup of tea. So a vanity is right up there on the to do list once we get moved and settled in. The master bath is pretty large and i'm considering putting a piece of furniture in there too to keep it from looking so empty. I'm sure i can find some cute pieces of bathroom furniture to do the job. I don't see it being a problem at all.

After that's taken care of, I'll work on getting a new bedroom set as well. Being that we'll be living in a new place i want to take the steps of erasing the past and starting over with a clean slate. Not that I'm saying there are bad memories related to my bedroom furniture lol, I just want something new and a new start if that makes sense. I'm doing the same with the living room furniture and the kids rooms for the most part as well. I figure I work really hard, we should reap the rewards of that hard work.

We're going to have a huge yard sale to get rid of alot of this stuff we have so that will make the move easier too. Less to take with us means less time to move it. Woohoo! I'm all for that part of it, but I still hate packing. I hate UNpacking even more though! Blech!

Sooooooooo anyway, if i'm missing you know where i'll be, either moving, packing or running around in circles. Likely all the above.
