Yeah I know, dangerous right? If you smell smoke, call the fire department.

Seriously though, I'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong on Entrecard.
I drop everyday and I buy advertising from popular and new blogs as well. I am big on helping newer blogs if at all possible. Heck i'm still relatively a baby with my blogs but i've learned alot and i think i should help others starting out too, the same way I was helped when I started.

Anyway, my dilemma is this. Lately i've been getting these very sweet little notes from my advertisers, saying thank you and such. I don't do this though. I've always felt that if i ask to advertise on your site then it's because i obviously think you have a nice site and that it's worth my time and credits to purchase the slot. I feel the same with my advertisers. I am appreciative that they choose to advertise here and i hope they they get a good return on their investment.

Am I being rude though by not thanking them personally both for letting me advertise on their site and for advertising with me? Is this something alot of people do? Or is this something that just very sweet person's do? It's not bothering me, don't get me wrong. It's just that, I wonder if i should have been doing this all along and am somehow making an Internet etiquette booboo.

Any thoughts? Do you thank other blog owners? Or do you let your advertising and approvals for the same speak for itself?
